Chandan S. Walia, DDS

Dr. Chandan Walia, DDS, is a Specialist Surgeon, Periodontist, and Implantologist who has dedicated his career exclusively to dental implants, periodontal surgery, and complex full-mouth rehabilitation. With more than 20 years of clinical experience and over 10,000 dental implants placed, he is recognized as one of the region's most experienced implant specialists.

What sets Dr. Walia apart is his advanced specialty training. Unlike many implant providers who place implants as part of a general dental practice, Dr. Walia completed an additional five years of hospital-based and surgical specialty training focused exclusively on implant dentistry, periodontics, oral medicine, and advanced surgical procedures.

His educational journey began in 2001 when he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University. He then completed specialized training in Oral Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, followed by serving as Chief Resident in Advanced Hospital Dentistry at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

In 2003, Dr. Walia was accepted into the prestigious three-year surgical specialty residency in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following completion of his specialty training in 2006, he served as a clinical attending at several respected hospitals, trained dental residents throughout the New York City area, and maintained a successful private practice before relocating to the Southwest.

Since 2016, Dr. Walia has practiced full-time at Implants & Periodontal Arts Surgical Center in Chandler, Arizona, where he focuses exclusively on dental implants, full-arch restorations, bone grafting, gum reconstruction, and advanced periodontal procedures.
